OUR STORY

The bar is the reason.

The Admiral Tavern keeps things honest at the bar and in the kitchen. The taps run a solid line-up of draught lagers, ales and ciders. Guinness poured as it should be, Stella, Heineken, Fosters, John Smith's Smooth, Strongbow and Cruzcampo alongside wines and spirits to cover every taste. No gimmicks. Just a well-stocked bar, friendly staff and a pint that's always fairly priced. The kitchen follows the same philosophy. Good pub food served lunchtimes and evenings, done properly and in portions that mean something. The Sunday Roast has built a loyal following, and The Admiral's Curry Club is a fixture worth knowing about.

“A proper local. Cold beer, live sport and the kind of regulars that make a pub worth finding.”

THE Admiral Tavern

St Helier's local. Always has been.

At the top end of town, a short walk from St James' Church, The Admiral Tavern is one of St Helier's most dependable locals. Oak beams, bare floorboards and a welcome that doesn't try too hard.  This is a pub that knows exactly what it is. Whether you're here for the live sport, a frame of pool, a round of darts or simply a well-kept pint, The Admiral delivers without fuss. The kind of place that fills up on a Saturday and stays easy company throughout. The kitchen keeps things honest. Good pub food at fair prices, served lunchtimes and evenings throughout the week. The Sunday Roast has earned its following. When the weather turns, the enclosed beer garden offers a quieter pace away from the bar.
The image shows a cozy pub with rustic charm, featuring wooden floors, a brick wall, and a wooden bar. The bar has stools and a wooden bench, and a television is mounted above. The walls display posters and a clock, and the pub has a warm, inviting atmosphere.
